Agnė Jokšė

Agnė Jokšė is currently based in Copenhagen, studying for a master’s degree at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Media Arts. In 2017, Jokšė graduated from Vilnius Academy of Arts, Department of Monumental Painting and Stage Desing.

Video installation “Dear Friend” treads a fine line between fiction and reality; a text written in the form of a letter that contemplates friendship as platonic love between women. Agnė Jokšė explores the spaces, joys and complications of non-romantic intimacy, exposing viewers to a wide field of experience through her own.
