Monika Janulevičiūtė ir Antanas Lučiūnas

Performed by five people, Girl is on Fire takes place in the world of the graphic novel “The Great Outdoors” – on a green island between two traffic lanes, where the characters face a lancinating collective reality. In the exhibition the performance is perceived not as a spatial installation, but through many objects located in the North Hall and other spaces of the CAC – fire hoses, smoky lanterns and the smell of flashing electric wires in the air.
